After many days we are finally Blogging again. Getting our new office ready has taken a lot of our time recently. Hopefully, we will be shifting in our new office next week and will be regular with our posts, updates, articles, exciting marketing plans and offers again.
Today’s Indiblogger’s meet in town has inspired us to take time out and write this post. Indiblogger is a community of Indian bloggers that provides a platform for bloggers having the same interests to connect with each other and share best practices, knowledge, etc., They not only connect online, but also offline and have regular meetings in cities like New Delhi, Hyderabadh, Bangalore etc., Today’s meeting was their first in Chandigarh. We got a chance to meet many web designers, programmers, students, other IT and non IT professionals who have been regularly blogging about their interests and areas of expertise. Amongst many insightful topics, we discussed how each blogger is creatively using blogs for different purposes and how everyone can contribute in spreading awareness about important socio-economic and environmental issues that are a matter of grave concern today.
Looking forward to attending more Indiblogger meetings in town.

The core of any online business marketing strategy is to increase the visibility online. It takes a decent amount of time and effort to drive traffic to a website.
These not only help in getting direct traffic to the website, but also help in improving the search engine rankings, as search engines pay a lot of weightage to incoming links from other websites. There are many ways to achieve good links for a website. One is direct link building, which, if done professionally and with certain quality parameters, like the ones we follow at VantageWebtech, can benefit a lot to increase the traffic and search engine rankings.
Another way, which has to go side by side with the link building, is to opt in for directory submissions. Web Directories have been on the internet for quite some time now. The ever growing Yahoo! started its life on the internet as the biggest and the best organized web directory, and probably it retains that position today as well. Before the search engines, web directories were a big source of finding relevant websites on the internet. They are quite different from search engines as they do not send crawlers across the web to look for the websites, but rely on manual submissions by webmasters or users which is then sent to a team which then take a look at the site to categorize it and check its quality and relevancy before adding it to the directory in the appropriate categories and sub-categories.
Directories are not used much now to find the websites, however there is still a reason why we need directory submissions. Because its humans who check the relevancy and informational “worth” of a site before adding it to the directory, certain search engines do rely on this process being carried out for them. While everyday people do not use these directories (other than specific directories) to find specific websites, spiders do regularly crawl through them to find out better indexed websites.
We at VantageWebtech, understand the importance of directory submissions and are offering 50 FREE DIRECTORY submissions with 100 links that you order from us. For more information on our link building services visit - http://www.vantagewebtech.com/link_building.html - or send an email to info[at]vantagewebtech.com
We are looking forward to hearing from you…

When online marketers are trying to reach out to their target audiences through their Advertising campaigns, it is imperative to include landing pages in their campaigns to provide a logical end to the advertisements and have an effective tool to measure the success of the campaigns. The page which opens when a web user clicks on a link/ advertisement/search engine result etc., is called a landing page.
This page is a continuation of the advertisement that was clicked to reach this page. The purpose of this page is to make the web visitor take a desired action which can be to purchase a product/service, fill up a form, get more information, etc.,
The landing pages can be linked to the website or can be stand alone pages which are an extension of a Advertisement done through paid search engine advertisings, e-mail marketing, banner ads etc.,
